H2G2 has a peer-review process prior to publishing in the edited
guide. The bureaucratic nature of this process, specifically updating
existing content, is what caused me to give up editing H2G2 (I did
have a large number of articles in the edited guide)
The process needn't/shouldn't be bureaucratic. I meant that I like
the idea of most changes by most users being be passed through without
any trouble... Changes by unknown users should show up to them but
not necessarily to everyone; those that seem like vandalism shouldn't
show up to almost anyone (save those actively patrolling for same).
