That's not the same as a poll, where you deliberately create a situation where the
only "content" is the poll itself.
You could for example just create a "simple" vote where "If the person
stays on this page for more than one minute that's a positive vote" and there are
no negative votes.? If they stay put, they must be reading the article and at least that
much interested.? It is possible, in some contexts (not all), to determine how long a
person stays put.
Would that work as an up-vote ?? Remember these are not polls.? It's a determination
of how popular the content is.
