Subject: Re: [WikiEN-l] WHEELER's anti-Semitism
I am saying that it is ok for anyone to express themselves in any
way
they choose to convey their message, be it
labeled hate speech or
not.
This is much more than a matter of labeling or political
correctness.
Very correct. It is a matter of restricting the right of free speech
of some people to fit the sensitivities of others. Unless a clear
case is made that the public is harmed by actions that result from
such speech, well, it's very dangerous to prohibit it.
Should W be a vehicle for hate speech? no. Should hate speech be
allowed? yes. Should it be its sole purpose? No.
What I and others are saying is that it should not be allowed.
Again, your position. Until it is agreed as a W policy, it is not a
bannable offense.
The US
government is a vehicle of hate speech if you're a
fundamentalist muslim.
No the US government is not. They have been very careful not to
broadbrush
all followers of Islam.
Most followers of islam are not fundamentalists.
