Well, it's irrelevant now, because I was going to ban him anyway if he didn't have a chat with me or come to the mailing list to talk about the problems people were having with his edits. His time would be up for that by now, anyway.
And still, of course, if he wants to write to me to talk about being reinstated, he can. Or to the list.
But he was really causing a LOT of trouble for a LOT of people, and it was really just too much.
