In practice, sure. But if an admin tells you that you should think
about moving on, it actually carries no more weight than if a newbie
said that.
My point is that, because *in practice* it *does* carry more weight,
admins should not be saying that sort of thing.
At some stage I'll probably apply for adminship
and I will find it
hard to avoid putting "because it's a free ride to respect" or
something equally impolite in my reasons for applying.
If it helps, I don't think I'm any more respected as an admin than I was
without the shiny buttons. Read into that what you will ...
