I have stated once already that someone I know who was working on a
complaint against Herschelkrustofsky had second thoughts upon seeing
tempbans implemented (or pondered) in other cases against complainants
(specifically my complaint against ArmchairVexillologistDon in which
the ArbComm was initially considering tempbanning *both of us* from all
articles related to Canada until the arbitration was concluded - this
was being proposed before any evidence had even been heard
Why is this a problem? For a tempban to stick, the arbitrators all have
to agree to it. If you don't trust them to make a fair decision in such a
case, you certainly can't trust them to arbitrate.
