Has anyone started exploring what a Wikibase/Wikidata translated into RDF-star might look like?

Querying Wikidata can sometimes be a bit mind-bending, because you often need to reference qualifiers to get the right results, which means having to switch through the various namespaces that statements get decomposed into (like p: ps: pq: wd: wdt: etc). It's hard to keep them all straight!

Is there any hope that RDF-star/SPARQL-star will make querying easier?

(I'm setting aside the question of 'will Blazegraph ever support RDF-star', and just pretending that the Blazegraph-or-replacement issue gets magically solved)
