Hi,
I really like that idea! Thanks for creating the project on phabricator.
I also thought of having a label for bugs which can be tagged as
"userscript/gadget available" if there is a gadget to fix the
bug/feature request.
Hopefully this moves into the right direction of having better support
for our gadgets. This is one of the steps forward to have proper code
management and at some point also review and ci. Great to see some
progress here.
Thanks,
Bene

Hey everyone,
Some may know the following problem: a gadget becomes broken due to
changes to the software. You report it on the talk page of the gadget,
then after some time without response you discuss it on our project
chat. The time between reporting the bug and fixing the bug are weeks
and sometimes months! Gadgets are a important part of the Wikidata
experience and bugs with them should be fixed as soon as possible.
After some discussion with Lydia Pintscher, I've decided to start a
project on Phabricator. Here can we track bugs, post some wishes and
even more. Here we can get a easy overview of the current state of
gadgets on Wikidata.
You can find the project here:
https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/tag/wikidata-gadgets/ Feel free to
add ideas or report bugs.
