Dear all,
I just wanted to ask, does Wikipedia have a DOI? I have done research by data mining the titles and IP edits in Wikipedia. The journal is asking if there is a DOI. I don't see any.
Your help is much appreciated, Tom

No.

In such a case, the most useful thing you can do is to attribute the authors of any software and dataset you used. For instance, we *might* have a DOI for the MediaWiki API and WMF dumps, for attribution to the relatively few developers who wrote the relevant software. Some API clients and XML parsers are already citable, for instance http://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.22828 (uh, I notice only now that I'm listed among the authors too).
Federico
Thanks!
