Hi!
I’m part of a research group running workshops with online communities, like Wikipedia, to discuss their values and refine existing processes for research. Our next remote workshop will be held on April 11, 2024 · 1:00pm - 3:00pm CST. If you have opinions about how future research in online communities should be conducted or want to learn more about the topic from other Wikipedians, consider signing up here: https://umn.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_86BhuP3ggWoYcnA?Community=Wikipedia&Confirm=1. All participants will be compensated $40 for their time and effort.
Details of all our research activity can be found on our Meta-Wiki page: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Research:Beyond_the_Individual:_Community-Engaged_Design_and_Implementation_of_a_Framework_for_Ethical_Online_Communities_Research.
Thanks for reading! If you have any questions or concerns, I'm happy to discuss the project further in this thread or on our research talk page.
