I just read at wiki-standards@wikisym.org about the http://recentchangescamp.org/ (Feb 3 thru Feb 5, 2006) - it was not a real scientific conference but relevant if you are interested in the big picture of social changes, wiki practise in general etc. You should have a look at it!
