Dear Wikimedians,
I am working as an ambassador at UFSC (Federal University of Santa Catarina) in Brazil. At UFSC we are developing projects with the department of History for development articles,[1] <#_ftn1> with the museum at UFSC[2] <#_ftn2> and we are trying to start projects with the UFSC museum. In addition, we will also organize this year's congress in the area of Wikipedia and Education, and the congress will also work as a catalyzer for the organization of a group of users (not recognized) in the south of Brazil called Wiki-Sul.
I write to ask for help because we intend to establish a research group on Wikipedia in the area of Human Sciences, we would like to know what the current state of the art, so ask for opinion and research ideas.
When we talk about research on Wikipedia we refer to the formation of a meta-discourse, exploring questions of reliability, notoriety, acceptability, pedagogical use, etc.
Best,
Felipe
