Hallo zusammen,
WikiTV möchte Euch heute ein neues, spannendes Video-Projekt vorstellen: Mit Unterstützung der Leuphana Universität und Wikimedia Deutschland sowie Förderung des Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung bietet "Videos für Wikipedia-Artikel" Workshops und einen Video-Wettbewerb an.
Bewegte Bilder sind oft viel anschaulicher als reine Text-Einträge. Dennoch sind nur in etwas über 2000 Artikeln der deutschsprachigen Wikipedia Videos eingebunden. Das Projekt „Videos für Wikipedia-Artikel“ möchte das ändern.
In den Workshops können Interessierte Grundtechniken der Videoproduktion lernen; Fahrt- und Übernachtungskosten können auf Anfrage von Wikimedia Deutschland erstattet werden. Der erste Workshop, zum Thema „Dokumentation/Interview“, findet am 30. und 31. August in Lüneburg statt.
Thema des Wettbewerbs ist – passend zum Wissenschaftsjahr 2014 – „Digitale Gesellschaft“. Bis zum 15. November können Videos zu Artikeln wie Big Data, Datenschutz, Social Media etc. eingereicht werden. Außerdem wird ein Videoschnitt-Server aufgebaut, der die Handhabung großer Datenmengen und die kooperative Produktion erleichtern soll, und Lehr- und Lernmaterialien zur Videoproduktion werden erstellt. Nicht zuletzt möchten wir eine Diskussion darüber anstoßen, welche Bildsprache der Wikipedia angemessen ist. Wir freuen uns über zahlreiche Anmeldungen!
