Vielleicht habt ihr in den letzten Tagen schon die Banner in der Wikipedia gesehen – wir organisieren den den Mai über wieder einen großen Wikidata-Wettbewerb: https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:Events/Coordinate_Me_2024/de. Es geht um alle Objekte, die Geokoordinaten haben, in 16 ausgewählten Ländern, darunter Österreich und Deutschland. Ein Hintergedanke für den Wettbewerb ist, den Mai zu nutzen, um im Hintergrund etwas „aufzuräumen“, bevor die Sommersaison mit Fotoaktionen und -wettbewerben beginnt, für die saubere Wikidata-Objekte sehr hilfreich sein können. Für Wikimedia Österreich ist das eines der größten Projekte dieses Jahr.
Passend dazu gibt es diesen Samstag, 4. Mai, von 10 bis 13 Uhr einen Wikidata-Workshop mit Emu und Herzi Pinki als Vortragenden: https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:Events/Coordinate_Me_2024/Participate.... Es ist eine Teilnahme entweder vor Ort in Wien oder online möglich. Der Workshop ist sowohl für Wikidata-Neulinge interessant als auch eine Chance, den Spezialisten Fortgeschrittenen-Fragen zu stellen. Wer möchte, kann im Anschluss am Nachmittag bei einem „Datathon“ mitmachen.
