Hi all,
I'm trying to use the Maps/Semantic Maps extensions to Mediawiki
primarily to evaluate them prior to deployment in a research application
I'm planning. However, right from the off I've struck a problem. I can't
seem to get Geocoding to work, and I wonder if anyone can help.
{{#geocode:Edinburgh}} returns nothing at all
{{#display_map:Edinburgh}} complains that "The value edinburgh is not
valid for parameter coordinates.", displaying a map over the Atlantic
Ocean, whereas...
{{#display_map:55.952242,-3.187337}} displays correctly.
I'm using the latest 0.65 bundled version of Maps and Semantic maps,
with google (although none of the other maps/geocoding service
combinations work either). I am coming from behind an institutional
proxy so wondered if this might be a factor.
I hope this is an obvious one to solve, since I am really excited about
using these extensions.
