And really, this server needs a better administrator than me. I'm only doing it because I needed it to develop the SlippyMap extension & related infrastructure and it seemed like nobody else could be found to do it. But I'm not familiar enough with how to set such a box up properly nor do I really have the interest since system administering isn't a project I like doing in my spare time.
I'm not sure what kind of help you need, but I'd be willing to assist.
I've
offered some assistance in the past, but I'm not sure what would be
needed
to get enough access to help in a meaningful way.
Basically someone else than me who has time and know how (which I don't really have:) needs to take care of it.
I'll be away from the internet for most of August so if another admin isn't found the box will be crippled for the near future.

Hi,
I would be willing to assist with setting up the server ... But I would need root or sudo access and no one of wikimedia etc. has ever heard my name so I don't expect them to grant this.
I'm running some servers (RHEL, Debian) for the company I work for... So if there are any linux system administration related questions feel free to ask :)
