All this talk about copyright on public domain "Text" is moot. You cannot copyright something already in the public domain. You can say you are, but your declaration has no power.
Also this line is a bit too vague for me, can you specify, clearly and exactly *what* you think Jstor is copyrighting that is PD? Please be specific, with a specific citation. Otherwise I call bull.
