Yes, it's called the "duck test" and it works when said socks go back
to doing the same things that got them banned in the first place.
Don't do those things and nobody has any reason to suspect you of
being a sock.
I was actually thinking of a couple of cases where innocent editors were
permanently banned for apparently being my socks.
Give us examples. It is all very nice to claim that this has occurred but
we
need to see examples.
You don't *need* anything of the sort. I'm not going to bring up details
of
the uncomfortable past. If you really *want* to see examples, then Wikipedia
is an open book and a bit of research will provide all you desire.
