I look forward to seeing what sort of private jargon they wind up
developing -- and if they realize that they've done so. Initialisms
are the English Wikipedia's jargon.
I appreciate the sentiment behind trying to deal with this problem,
since I often encounter abbreciations on this list that I need to puzzle
over before giving my best guess. I don't think the hard line approach
will help them. It's just not a winnable battle.
