editing problem with Essjay is it trying to fix? What is the desired
outcome? A community ban of a departed editor? An ArbCom case to

You can't reason people out of being upset and wanting to talk or vent about it.
The emotional halflife of a serious problem varies, but it typically
on the order of many days to a week or so.
