G'day Prasad,
As I said
before, Wikipedia's biases are what we call "systemic bias".
This is because most of our editors are male, white, and American, in
their early to mid-twenties. There's two ways to combat this bias.
Sitting around whingeing about how nobody understands
how difficult it is to not be American is not only bloody stupid, it's
also offensive to the rest of us who aren't American and don't
appreciate being considered fellow travellers.
You're white aren't you Mark? And I'm pretty sure "Gallagher"
isn't a
Muslim name. So nobody here considers you a f"ellow traveller".
I think we might be using different definitions. I meant that I am not
American, and asserting that I hold the same views and mindset as a
bunch of people in a whole 'nother country simply because I am the same
colour as the majority over there is offensive. There's a word for that
sort of thing; I think it starts with 'r'.
