You could probably mount a case for saying that <IMG> is a command that loads an image from disk, resizes it, adds a border and displays it on the screen in a scrolly window!
You would then be lynched by a rampaging mob of disrespectable C hackers who think it's disgraceful that HTML dweebs are allowed to call themselves "programmers".
