This is a standard option in MediaWiki, not something specific to
Wikia. A few Wikimedia wikis run it (meta and board). I don't know why
it isn't used everywhere since it's an incredibly useful feature.
So it's not the version of MediaWiki, but rather, a standard feature that
you have to enable in the config file?
