For editors who treat each other with respect, the Wikipedia: Ignore All Rules policy is a way of saying, "No rules are necessary for you." Since every rule of Wikipedia is made to enable and promote mutual respect and consensus, those who seek consensus naturally need no Wikipedia rules.
In no way, can the [[WP:IAR]] be expanded to mean: make up and enforce any rule that you want. In fact, for an administrator to do so would be in direct contradiction to the promise we essentially make editors in the [[WP:IAR]] that they need only worry about making good, NPOV articles.
