It should probably be noted that in general, the user:foo block is
renewed very quickly. In your case, last time it was renewed within the
first minute of the block, meaning your block didn't get extended by
more than a few seconds.
Huh? For that to be true in general, you would have to assert that every
blocked user attempts to hit "edit" at least once every minute.
