I've decided to make this a little more formal, to coordinate this work in case anyone else would like to participate.

This page is intended to coordinate effort in patrolling the deletion log to retrieve articles that should not have been deleted.
The undeletion policy provides for the undeletion of articles that have clearly been deleted out-of-process--for instance, during recent-changes or newpages patrol when there is no applicable criterion for speedy deletion. Articles that may still be deletable (but not speedily deletable) may be listed on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion.
The emphasis is not on policy enforcement for the sake of it, but recovering genuinely useful material that shouldn't have been deleted, so speedy deletion patrollers tend not to query borderline cases.
