I've created a small page to attempt to discuss the varying proposals for reforming the deletion process at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Deletion_reform . Please expand with ideas, and discuss them on eh talk page. I know it's small right now, but I can't think of too many alternative proposals right now.
Just don't delete VfD again, Ed. That doesn't exactly move anything forward.
