I can't see us arriving on a consensus to ban all April Fool articles on April 1 (except for the "approved" one).
Since when has the likelyhood of complete and total failer been a reason to give up?
The experience of Friday is that no more vandalism occurs than on a normal day, but one or two unexpected things happen to the main page, navs and screen furniture. This really isn't worth legislating for and certainly is not unexpected activity on April 1. There is in my experience a visible trend to over-react to what was all-in-all a rather enjoyable day.
If we get some kind of consensus on what to do we will be in a better position to act if things do get out of control and if not we will muddle through somehow~~~~
