The JoanB comments strike me a little as words by someone knowledgeable trying to play newbie and keep from exploding all over the screen and everybody nearby, but I'm going to be optimistic and take it at face value for now. GNU also has people that really want to be part of the group but but have a hard time with the give-and-take that group participation requires - sometimes they learn, sometimes they don't.

I suspect JoanB top be DW. He/She's adding his own prose to Brilliant prose.
And in a recent addition to [[Wikipedia talk:Image use policy]], seems to have slipped up and posted while not logged in, revealing an IP of 64.228.30.14. Don't I remember lots of BW's contributions coming from 64.228.30.x IP addresses? Not much room for doubt now (if there ever was).
