It's been significantly improved already. That article was indeed rubbish, and appears to even have been vandalized at the time the subject viewed it. :-( As a short term measure, methinks we need to crank up the Living People patrol (i.e. make it more visible, perhaps even put it in the sitenotice for a while).
Unfortunately, the load time for http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Recentchangeslinked/Category:Living_peo... is very slow - perhaps Brion or Gregory can figure out some caching tweaks to make it scale better?

Well, I tried. But it turns out that the "truth" she claims one will find on her website is, um, a very polite version of what the BBC regards as the truth. The more I researched, the less attractive her Wikipedia bio became. But at least I sourced it all.

Someone makes an excellent point at [[talk:Edwina Currie]]. She complains that she couldn't possibly have gone to the same school as Derek Hatton: "a bit difficult, that, since it was an all-girls school and I actually attended a State grammar school, the Liverpool Institute High School for Girls"
But on her website, she claims that she "went to the same school as Beatles George Harrison and Sir Paul McCartney"! In reality, the two beatles (and Hatton) went to Liverpool Institute for Boys while she went to Liverpool Institute for Girls.
Talk about having your cake and eating it too!

Does the Foundation get many requests for logo use?

It's clearly faked, so would be an "illustration".
Does the Foundation get many requests for logo use?
Too many. http://wikimediafoundation.org/wiki/Contact_us directs people to http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Press , which expressly says "yes you can use the damn logo for press coverage."

Ah, thanks for clearing that one up on both counts.
