What I'm thinking of instead is some sort of
subscription or commitment
thing. I've always wanted to build a Wikipedia bot, so likely I'd take
this opportunity. Suggestions welcome!
Bot to interrupt any discussion thread at 10K with a message "get back to work, you
windbags"; and then at decreasing intervals. Pepper with jobs that need doing.
You are a bad man. And that is a quality I admire greatly.
Hmmmm.... If we made it work like the archiver bots, where you have to
invite its interference, that might be enough to make it socially
acceptable. At least, it would be somebody else getting yelled at, not
me. The question is whether anybody would sign up for it. Still, if I
build the rest, that would be a pretty easy feature add.
I'll add it to the list. Thanks!
