As a noncommercial forum, it would make more sense to put it in a .org address, like Wikipedia itself.
(I think I played some role in convincing the Wikipedia Weekly podcast people to switch from .com to .org with their own site.)
That scrambled letter thing on the registration page was murder. It took me three goes to find a set of letters I could make sense of. Since membership is by email confirmation *and* moderator approval, is there any need to have this extra security?
