It seems alright to me, but I'm not, in general, a fan of open-air mediation. It seems similar to what we have already.

Sorry, I thought that was obvious. Since when is contesting an article's POV in talk a bannable offense?

Ah, I see now. That page is for reporting "people to be banned". It wasn't really clear, but at the face of it it seems like a heated argument on a talk page.
