Hi,
Perhaps, when doing moves, there could be a checkbox which would automatically fix any double-redirects which would arise as a result of the move?
This would save time, as the person doing the move wouldn't have to go through all the redirects created and update them, as the software could automatically do that, attributing it to the person who did the move.
What are people's thoughts on this?

I can think of some cases where this would *not* work, eg. when pages are rearranged to create primary disambiguation pages, not only are redirects needed but disambiguation as well. We have Wikiprojects to deal with both of these; finding and fixing double redirects (and links to disambiguation pages) is something that is best left in the hands of human editors, because software can get it wrong.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean - do you have any examples I could look at?
