Very odd. Having worked for Guardian Unlimited I went scurrying for the feeds to see if they had forgotten to update their copyright date, but that seems to be fine. Possibly the Hindustan Times obtained the story through a wire feed, which would probably have come (for historical reasons I won't bore you with) via a different route from the news office.
