Truer words were never spoken. In fact, a number of alternatives to Wikipedia have the possibility of being very profitable. THINK AND GROW RICH... Just do it somewhere else.

That spelling of encyclopedia is exactly why Wikipedia is what it is. Don't let the front door hit you on your way out. There's plenty of other places on the web for you to get the kicks you're looking for. If you're that eager, why don't you try and build up an online business such as this on your own. Then, you'll really find out how hard all of this is.

I'm not sure which one of us you're referring to: Fred Bauder, administrator and arbitres and long-time contributor to Wikipedia, or Mark Gallagher, administrator and long-time contributor (but not, thank goodness, arbitres).
I've written hundreds of articles and made thousands of edits. Fred Bauder has gone further, not merely working to improve the encyclopaedia but also contributing to its good governance with a verve and dedication matched by very few on the project. And we're not alone: there are thousands of people who've done as much, or more.
We don't need to try to "build up an online business such as [Wikipedia]". We *are* Wikipedia. You can be, too. But you've got a few misconceptions to drop, first.

Starting with dropping the attempts to flame people who are not of her gender, and an insistence that Commonwealth English is wrong.
