I didn't catch all of the references, but what stands out for me is
that the [[voting is evil]]
concept is an oft-quoted though oxymoronic essay, and IMHO one largely
promoted by you "Brits" for some reason or another. David for example
was big on VIE, but now, remarkably, remarks of a constitution. Go
figure.
