That's too subjective a standard. The things that offend individuals, and possibly cause them psychological harm, are as varied as humans are. Protecting everybody from every real or imagined harm they may claim is inconsistent with allowing individual
freedom.

Courtesy blankings don't really affect the freedom of information one way or the other. Anyone who wants to know can simply check the history... I believe courtesy blankings are to avoid things showing up on Google, which I think is fair - I wouldn't want a bunch of petty trivial disputes showing up under my name on Google either.
