I see a bunch of whining and a page protection. So? WP:IAR is a policy as well, and I don't think you could call his talkpage protection disruptive or divisive (except between most of us and those few who think killing people for nothing is OK).
What Kelly's post and her hangers-on commenters demonstrate more than anything is the sad reality of those who feel as though they have their face pressed to the glass. They complain about everything, at every opportunity. Hardly anyone agrees, so they must be right.
