To access the English wikipedia through pliny (the bigger server), which may be faster while Larousse is overloaded: http://en2.wikipedia.org/
It's read/write for articles, but it's got a slightly outdated copy of the uploaded images, and I've disabled new uploads. New TeX images may stomp on each other too, but that can be sorted out later.
Please don't stomp on it too hard; that's the server with the database and all the other languages, too!

I've tweaked Special:Userlogin to redirect to en2.wikipedia.org, so if you log in (or manually seek the other server) you may get an improved experience, while larousse is bogged down by everyone and his brother coming from search engines.
Poor man's load balancing until we get round-robin DNS and a real separate other server set up. ;) Hopefully this won't put too much of a burden on the other languages/wikis in the meantime. :(
Uploads now will go only to en2, and www is the one that'll be a little behind until they're resynchronised. (rsync is lovely for this.)
