A word on this, as a list admin: I see the job of the list admins as being to clear the spam and forward the mails from real people (even the stupid and annoying mails, as long as they're from real people) to the list.
I'm not entirely sure there's hard guidelines on when to ban someone from posting to the list ... unless they're pretty much a spambot. As opposed to mere gross obnoxiousness. Are there any?
