That is your opinion. There are of course many opinions the majority of the population don't respect. for example the opinion that starlin was an all round good guy would not be widely respected. Once you move away from the absolute position it simply becomes a question of where to draw the line.

Religious beliefs, for example. I might disagree strongly with someone over what they believe, but that doesn't mean that I don't respect their beliefs.
Beliefs are generally held to be stronger than opinions, but I can still respect someone's right to hold and defend their opinion.
