The BC/AD/BCE/CE debate has kicked up a bit of fuss recently, including revert wars and an RFAr. In an effort to stem future problems I've created a vote to amend the Manual of Style to reflect the controversy of the use of these eras.
Please take a [[Wikipedia:Manual of Style (dates and numbers)/Eras]] and see what you think.

An editor has recently been uploading a number of images to Wikipedia, and including the {{fairuse}} template at the top of each of them. Essentially he is asserting that he can upload any image he wants to Wikipedia, and then use it to illustrate any article in which it is relevant, under the "fair use" clause of United States copyright law. Is that correct?
Jay.
Hell no. But you knew that.

And with the images themselves? Delete, or...?
Jay.
Depends. I would argue that some screenshots and Promotional images can be considered fair use. Other stuff most likely has to go.

I just can't believe that this has spurred another vote - I mean, the whole first proposal was a joke, trying to replace something that is arguably POV by something that is an even worse POV. And now everybody who doesn't want to suddenly face an absurd rule has to go through the whole BS *again*? Oh please, don't do this to us!
