It's mostlly about how to run a *big* open project. Not so much about technical infrastructure, but about how to interact with people.
Have a read. It'll give you a lot of good ideas we can apply to Wikipedia.

Avoid Private Discussions- someone needs to tell the board this.
Benevolent Dictators- This section misses out must be preparded to spend the time required to do the job properly (currently at least 16 hours a day on the various wikimedia projects)

This is informative. Those who don't have the attention span to read a content page more than one screen long now believet that asking someone to read a book is tantamount to engaging in a private discussion. Beware the cabal of book readers. :-)
