Hi guys,
I've noticed over the past few months that the number of people nominating articles and voting on the collaboration of the week has fallen quite considerably. I have two questions:
- what do you think the causes of this fall in activity are?
- what ideas do people have to reinvigorate activity in this project which used to turn out a featured-quality article pretty much every week?
Chris

It really never did that. Try featuring it on the main page.

The article improvement drive is stagnating too. Due to people going back to school, perhaps?
Thanks, Ryan

One thing I thought of was the increasing number of topical CotW projects, which might have caused people to move towards topics they are interested in rather than the general CotW.

I'm sure its a factor of some kind. I have trouble keeping track of all of them myself (fortnightly and so on). Plus you have the various wikiprojects too and the featuring article drives they do.
Thanks,
Ryan

From what I noticed: the Featured Article Drive is pretty much dead too.
