Folks,
Thanks to everyone who voted for me as an Admin in the recent Request for Adminship.
Unfortunately, I have to ask your assistance in another capacity. An hour ago, Who blocked a user 203.26.16.67 http://203.26.16.67 for leaving an offensive message on a user page. It seems that my IP range has been blocked as part of the ban. It was not me who left the offending message.
I was wondering if it would be possible to unblock my account. I understand if it is not possible.
Thanks in anticipation of any assistance you may be able to offer.
Regards

I don't see any reason why you can't unblock yourself if you're caught in a block by mistake.

Chris,
Thanks to the kind person who unblocked me.
There were two reasons. The first is that it might be seen as a conflict of interest even though I was innocent. The second is that I was blocked from all editing including unblocking as far as I understood.

Currently a block only prevents editing, it doesn't prevent use of any admin tools including rollback, protecting, blocking, etc.. See http://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3801.

Could someone cheack that? When I got caught in an autoblock it did mess with with the admin functions (deletion I seem to recall).
