Hi all,
I find that I'm updating articles and the changes are not always being reflected straight away. Has anyone else been having this problem?

That's it.
Your message, Kerlock, is the straw that broke the camel's back.
I'm unsubscribing from this nonsense list.

Please, and don't let the door hit you on the way out.

All,
I forgot to note: click on edit of the page, then change action=edit to action=purge fixes the issue. This, however, is only a workaround.

Negative, negative. On my box I saw caching issues persist beyond a purge: 1. - The Main_Page showed something outdated. 2. - I went to http://en.wikipedia.org/w/wiki.phtml?title=Main_Page&action=history 3. - I then changed things and loaded the purge URL: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/wiki.phtml?title=Main_Page&action=purge 4. - This displayed the correct content and a URL of http://en.wikipedia.org/w/wiki.phtml?title=Main_Page in the address bar. 5. - Now, as soon as I changed from the http://en.wikipedia.org/w/wiki.phtml?title=Main_Page URL to the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page URL, I was back to the bad old outdated content again. Optional 6th step: Rinse and repeat from (2) ad infinitum et ad nauseam.
Anyway, the Slaves out of sync thread on Wikitech-l has already cleared up what's behind these probs (if I'm not mistaken). See: http://mail.wikipedia.org/pipermail/wikitech-l/2004-October/025908.html
