Fred, I hope you don't mind my using i-e as the abbreviation for internet-encyclopedia, even though IE is the abbreviation for the wost web browser ever created.
Lir has made some good (but POV, as the rules allow) contributions to internet-encyclopedia. I copyedited her [[cybercop]] article into wikipedia, which was somewhat informative, but I had to npov-ise it. I guess Fred (or someone, I can't remember who) was right that Lir makes useful, but POV, entries --littledan

I-E permits POV articles. The main article on any topic should be written from a sympathetic point of view toward the person, country, topic etc. Lir is a man named Adam BTW. So he does fine on Internet-Encyclopedia where the type of articles he writes is expected. So does 172 BTW, see:

I never said he wasn't doing a fine job. But I though your policy was to write on all points of view. I guess I'm wrong, since i-e itself says sympathetic point of view. I don't know how you can say (on [[Internet Encyclopedia:Sympathetic Point of View]]) "this breaks down in cases like Hitler..." because one could equally question George W. Bush's motives in the "War on Terror". I think that your sympathetic point of view is interesting, but more fit for a collection of essays than an encyclopedia. --LittleDan
