I can't see how you can possibly hope to recover the moral high ground
here without making a massive public apology to the Nazipedia folks.
Without wanting to offer the least scintilla of support for Nazis or
their hateful views, they have seen their project vandalised, probably
to a far greater extent than anything they ever wanted to do to
Wikipedia. They have been handed an incentive and moral imperative to
retaliate.
