I have just noticed http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:GordonWattsDotCom ... It seems to me to be somewhat inappropriate to create a username advertising a personal website, but I didn't see anything in the Wikipedia username policy ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Username ) that says anything about adverts...
So I thought I'd pose the issue to the mailing list, see what you all think.
If it's a commercial website then it's dodgy. If it's a personal one then I don't think it's so bad. There's certainly a gap in the username policy.

I think "not distruptive" should cover it. If it becomes disruptive, then ask him to change it.
From the website:
"Register editor and reporter, Gordon Watts, has been on special assignment on site at "Ground Zero," to continue court action, report, and participate in protests of the various abuses of the disabled patients..."
"Alert! You are being asked to help impeach judges involved in the Terri Schiavo case"
Whatever his username, we probably need to keep an eye on his edits.

No offense, but I kinda identify the term "Ground Zero" with two places: the heart of a nucular explosion (misspelling deliberately) and downtown Manhattan, and I'm not sure where to find "disabled patients" at either location (there's no hospital in the Manhattan "pit" at the moment and the folks in the middle of a "nuke" have all been vaporized anyway, so...why would there be disabled patients?)

Going by the results of previous nuclear combat, yes.
